Just got in the new CTMH Cricut cartridge Arfully Sent. So I had to play with it. First I made some wine tags using the cake pattern for the sleeve card out of Confetti paper. I embossed the white bases with the CTMH dots embossing folder. On 2 of them I used some ink on a sponge to highlight the dots.

I also cut some banners & a Happy Birthday banner- backed the cut images with coordinating cardstock & highlighted them with glitter glue. Stamped happy birthday using a couple different stamp sets for the other 2. TaDa- fun wine gift tag/cards.

So in continuing to play with the new Artfully Sent- I made this card next- it's a pop up

The outside I cut the Thinking of You text & butterfly from Cotton Candy card stock. The base of the card is a piece of Sarita (which is now retired)- I thought the color contrast would be fun.

This is the inside- a pop up butterfly. It's important to pre-score the small fold lines to let the image pop properly & also that the card can fold flat. The fun colors of the backside of the Sarita paper come thru to color the butterfly. I used Lagoon card stock to cut the inside. Now you can write a special message all around the butterfly to the person you're sending it to.

More wine tags- this time from inspiration from Wizard's Hangout embossed snowflakes

I started with CTMH White Daisy card stock. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge and Cricut Craft Room (CCR) to make a rectangle 9" x 3.25" and then put a 1.25" circle in the top of it (make sure you choose 'Don't Weld' so the circle will cut). The score line is at 7" so you want to center that circle in the 2" x 3.25" area that would be the top of the card to go over the neck of the wine bottle.

Next I chose a few snow flake stamps from a couple CTMH sets- one was D1480 Snowflakes which is still available (also Cricut comparable). I stamped with VersaMark and then embossed w/clear embossing powder. Then I sponged Outdoor Denim, Crystal Blue & Glacier (new color) diagonally from one corner to the other as you can see in the photo. I then stamped the same snowflakes I had embossed with in the various 3 blues to create an overlay look.

I cut the Merry Christmas using the CTMH Artbooking cartridge and CCR to weld them together. I then used a white pigment pen (by Uniball- I got mine from Amazon) and highlighted it with dashes of little white lines.

Lastly I cut little cards from the Art Philosophy cartridge replacing the image with an ornament, star & tree of my liking- I wanted it larger than a small image in the corner since my card was already so small. I then put a scrap piece of coordinating card stock behind just the cut out. I stamped "To:" & "From:" inside the card using one of the stamp sets that come with the CTMH cartridges. Now it's ready for punching a small hole in both the card and the tag and attaching it with some baker's twine. I used cranberry.

Wine Gift card/tags

want something different when giving a bottle of wine- make a card/tag

the stamp set I used for the cornucopia & pumpkins is no longer available, but the leaves are from Thankful Heart (B1463). I stamped them in black and then colored them using the ShinHan Touch Twin markers. It takes a bit to get the hang of blending, but once you do it looks great. I had to get creative with the bread in the cornucopia as I didn't want it as dark as the basket- so I used a skin tone to get the blending (Barely Beige) and made tick marks across the surface to get the look of a crust (Clay) then blended it over again with the Barely Beige. The leaves I used Pastel Green, Leaf Green, Light Orange & Marigold. The pumpkins were Light Orange & Marigold. Always work on one part at a time as if you let it dry, you won't be able to blend it as well. Color the entire image with the lightest color, then edge & highlight with the darker and finally go back over it with the light color to blend it all. Always use a bleeder paper underneath. That scrap paper actually helps pull the color thru and allows you to blend better.

I made the base of the card using a rectangle & circle in Cricut Craft Room to make it 3.25" x 9.5". I scored for the fold at 7" from the bottom. Then I stamped, layered, etc. I punched a small hole in the top of the card next to the circle for putting over the bottle and attached a small tag that says To: From: on the inside.

Snowhaven can be used for Christmas cards or season notes. Pathfinding works great for thank you cards or for seasonal Thanksgiving notes.
